I. Glossary of terms
- Museum/Module Operator – The Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw with its seat at ul. Agrykola 1., 00 – 460 Warsaw, NIP: 7010794896, REGON: 369111140, entered in the Register of Cultural Institutions maintained by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage under the number 108/2018.
- Module – a module of the Museum’s website designed for the online purchase of tickets to visit exhibitions at: www.lazienki-krolewskie.pl.
- Museum ticket office – the ticket office located in the Podchorążówka (Office Cadet School) building.
- Terms and Conditions – these terms and conditions for the online purchase of tickets to exhibitions – via the Module.
- Order – an order relates to entrance tickets to exhibitions for individual visitors.
- Purchaser – the person purchasing the ticket(s) online.
- Ticket – a document in the form of a printout or a legible .pdf file displayed on the screen of a mobile device, confirming the entitlement to visit an exhibition, attend an event or enter a museum lesson, on a specific date, for which the Purchaser has paid a fee upon purchasing it.
- Exhibition – an exhibition presented temporarily at the Museum.
- Event – a cultural, artistic, natural and other event held at the Museum, i.e. concert, performance, walk, workshop, guided tour.
- Museum Lesson – educational activities conducted for different age groups based on a chosen subject.
II. General provisions
- These Terms and Conditions set out the detailed rules for the purchase of online tickets at the Museum for admission to:
1) an Exhibition,
2) an Event,
3) a Museum Lesson.

The Museum provides online ticket purchasing services in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Immediately after placing an online order for tickets, the Purchaser will receive a confirmation of the Order from the system, sent to the e-mail address provided by the Purchaser. The confirmation will indicate the order number, the number of tickets ordered, the name of the exhibition, event, museum lesson, the date, the specific time or admission period and the value of the tickets.

Before engaging in the ticket purchasing process via the Module, the Purchaser should read the Terms and Conditions, confirm that he or she has read them and accept their content by ticking the appropriate box in the window opened automatically in the Module, and then register.

Tickets may be purchased via the Module using the following browsers: Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla FireFox 36, Opera 32, Google Chrome 30 or Safari 9 – or their newer versions.

The Museum reserves the right to temporarily close a facility where an exhibition, event or museum lesson is to be held, if another event is organised at that facility, including an event of national importance, as well as due to force majeure, including bad weather conditions, as a result of which the entrance to the Museum Gardens will be temporarily closed to Visitors. If the circumstances referred to in the preceding sentence occur, the Museum shall reimburse the Purchaser for the cost of the tickets, in accordance with the rules set out in Chapter V, section 1 of these Terms and Conditions.
III. Online purchase of tickets
- Tickets can be purchased online via the Module available on the Museum’s website.
- To purchase tickets via the Module, the Purchaser must complete the purchase form and follow the instructions included in it. The form should be filled in carefully, as the provision of incorrect data, especially the e-mail address, may prevent the Purchaser from purchasing a ticket effectively and, consequently, from being reimbursed for unused tickets, in accordance with the provisions of section V of these Terms and Conditions.
- Payment for the tickets purchased online is made by electronic transfer or payment card supported by PayPro SA, the owner of www.przelewy24.pl,
- Tickets shall remain the property of the Museum until the Museum has recorded the confirmation of payment by PayPro in the banking application operated on behalf of the Museum.
- The payments referred to in paragraph 3 shall be handled exclusively by PayPro SA, the owner of przelewy24.pl, having its registered office in Poznań, ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań, via the www.przelewy24.pl internet portal. The payment card operator is PayPro SA Agent Rozliczeniowy, ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court Poznań-Nowe Miasto i Wilda in Poznań, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000347935, NIP 7792369887, Regon 301345068.
- The Purchaser has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the payment process described in paragraph 5 directly to PayPro, the owner of the www.przelewy24.pl portal. The complaint should be sent using an electronic form available on the website at http://przelewy24.pl/kontakt/reklamacja, by phone at +48 61 642 93 44 or in writing to PayPro SA, ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań.
- Ticket prices include the VAT tax. In order to receive a VAT invoice, the Purchaser must select the option – VAT invoice – during the ordering process and provide the correct data necessary for issuing such invoice.
- The Purchaser who has purchased discounted tickets via the online sales system must present the document entitling him or her to the discount before entering the exhibition, event or museum lesson for which the tickets have been purchased. Tickets without a documented entitlement to a discount shall not be honoured at the entrance and are non-refundable.
- Once the online purchase has been paid for and the payment has been credited by PayPro, the tickets will be sent as a pdf attachment to the e-mail address provided. The Purchaser should immediately verify whether the tickets are correct and consistent with the order, in particular: the amount, number of participants, chaperons, name of the exhibition/event/museum lesson, its date and time.
- Each ticket printed or saved on a mobile device is subject to verification before entry to an exhibition visit, event or museum lesson. For electronic tickets, it is important to ensure that the mobile device has software enabling to display PDF files.
- The Purchaser is responsible for the correct printing of the ticket or display on the screen of the mobile device, as well as for protecting the ticket in its electronic mail system. A ticket may not be sent for a second time to the e-mail address specified by the Purchaser.
- The Museum reserves the right to refuse admission to an exhibition, event or museum lesson, if the ticket is damaged or illegible, and if verification of the bar code is not possible.
- The Purchaser purchasing tickets online shall comply with the Visit Rules and Regulations and, in the case of museum lessons, the Museum Lessons Terms and Conditions of the museum lessons, the text of which can be found directly at the Museum or on the website under the tab: Visit Rules and Regulations and the Museum Lessons Terms and Conditions.
- The lack of possibility to purchase exhibition tickets via the online sales system does not mean that purchasing them at the Museum’s Ticket Office is impossible, provided that exhibition tickets are still available for sale. This does not apply to museum events and lessons.
IV. Complaints
- The Purchaser may lodge a complaint regarding the ticket purchasing process and the quality of the Museum’s services, within 14 calendar days from the date on which the event covered by the complaint occurred. Such complaint shall be lodged in the following manner:
- electronically by e-mail to: rezerwacje@lazienki-krolewskie.pl,
- in writing to the following address: Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, ul. Agrykola 1, 00-460 Warsaw
- In the complaint, the Purchaser should indicate: the subject matter of the complaint, the order number and the reason for the complaint.
- The complaint will be processed by the Museum within 14 calendar days of receipt. As soon as the complaint has been processed, the Museum will inform the Purchaser of the resolution, in writing or by e-mail to the address indicated in the complaint.
- The fact of processing a complaint by the Museum does not exclude the Purchaser’s right to pursue claims under the general provisions prescribed by law in the Civil Code and the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1796).
V. Return and exchange of tickets
- In the event that an exhibition, event or museum lesson does not take place for reasons attributable to the Museum, the Museum shall return the tickets purchased online and refund the amounts paid. A correction to the sales document will be sent by the Museum via e-mail to the e-mail address indicated by the Purchaser in the Module when filling out the purchase form. Confirmation of the e-mail transmission to the Purchaser will be tantamount to confirmation of receipt of the document correction.
- Purchased tickets shall not be refunded or exchanged, except as provided for in paragraph 1 above.
- A visitor who arrives for a visit to an exhibition or event on a date and/or time slot other than that provided on the ticket or in the Order confirmation e-mail will not be allowed to attend that visit or event, and shall not be entitled to claim a refund of the ticket purchase price.
- The duration of the museum lesson is strictly limited. If a group arrives late for a lesson, the Museum has the right to shorten the duration of the lesson (by as many minutes as the group was late) so that the Lesson finishes as planned. Furthermore, if a group arrives late for a Museum Lesson by more than 20 minutes, the Museum may refuse to conduct the Lesson – and the Purchaser shall not have the right to claim a refund from the Museum for the cost of the tickets.
- The Museum has the right to change the date and time at which a Lesson or workshop is to be held. The Museum undertakes to inform the Purchaser (by telephone or e-mail) of the change of the date and time as soon as such change becomes necessary and to agree a new date with the Purchaser. In exceptional cases, where a new date cannot be arranged, the Museum has the right to cancel the Lesson or the workshop and undertakes to refund the tickets.
- The group may reschedule the Museum Lesson once free of charge within 5 days before the scheduled date of the Lesson – subject to the availability of other dates. A request to reschedule a Lesson should be sent by e-mail to: rezerwacje@lazienki-krolewskie.pl,with the following data given: order number, name of the Purchaser, in the subject line of the e-mail please write: request to reschedule a museum lesson.
VI.Rights and obligations of the Museum and Participants in Museum Lessons
- The Museum undertakes to provide a qualified Educator to ensure that the Lesson is carried out in an individualised and creative way, adapted to the level, age of the participants and their expectations, and to select the scope of and the manner in which knowledge will be shared so as an optimal teaching effect is achieved.
- The Museum undertakes to provide the materials necessary for the Lessons.
- The group is required to arrive on the Museum premises 10 minutes before the agreed starting time of the Lesson, at the meeting place with the Educator specified in the confirmation received sent by the Museum to the Purchaser’s e-mail address.
- If a group arrives at the Museum premises earlier than the time described in paragraph 3 above, the group shall spend the waiting time for the Lesson on its own. The Museum does not have a space where the group can wait for the Lesson to begin, nor is it possible to hold the Lesson before the agreed start time.
- The group of children or youth shall be under the care of a Chaperon, who has the duty to look after the group in such a way that the Educator can carry out the Lesson. The Chaperon shall in particular:
- ensure that Participants do not touch exhibits, sit on furniture, eat, snack or drink during the museum lesson;
- respond to excessive group noise, the Participants running around the Facility;
- ensure that passageways remain unobstructed (Participants not sitting at doors);
- comply with instructions or directions given by the staff of the Museum Visitor Service Department or the Museum Education Department and the Educator.
- The Chaperon shall be liable for any damage caused to the Museum or to third parties as a result of the Chaperon’s failure to comply with the obligations set out in chapter VI section 5 above.
- When the group behaves in a way making it impossible to conduct the Lesson or which endangers the Museum property, in particular the museum exhibits and the flora and fauna of the Royal Łazienki Gardens, the Educator or an employee of the Visitor Service Department or an employee of the Museum Education Department may interrupt the Lesson.
- The Participant of the Lesson is liable for damage caused through his or her fault on the Museum premises, to other Participants, to third parties, as well as for damage to Museum property.
- The Museum does not insure Participants taking part in the Lessons and is not liable in this respect.
VII. Personal data
- CONTROLLER – The controller of the personal data in the Module, i.e. the entity that decides for what purpose and how the data will be processed, is the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, address: ul. Agrykola 1, 00-460 Warsaw.
- DATA PROTECTION OFFICER – In matters related to the processing and protection of your personal data, you can contact the Data Protection Officer appointed by the controller via e-mail address: iod@lazienki-krolewskie.pl or in writing to the controller’s registered office address: Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, address: ul. Agrykola 1, 00-460 Warsaw.
- SOURCE OF DATA ORIGIN –The controller processes the data of persons who have completed the Order Form contained in the Module. If a ticket has been sent to a person who did not order it via the shopping Module, his/her data has been provided by the person filling in the Order Form. The personal data obtained when filling in the aforementioned Form includes the following data categories: first name, last name, e-mail address. Optional – telephone number and language version of the Module. And for the purpose of obtaining a VAT invoice, also: address and NIP number (tax identification number).
- PURPOSES OF PROCESSING – personal data of those ordering tickets to visit exhibitions or participate in Events organized in the Museum through the Module shall be processed in order to:
- provide services electronically by concluding agreements with the Ordering Party for the sale of tickets ordered by the Ordering Party using the Module and the performance of these agreements, as well as, after registering an account, for the purpose of placing further orders through the use of the Module for the sale of tickets on the website (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
- return tickets and handle any complaints (the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
- comply with legal obligations, in particular the fulfilment of financial reporting obligations (the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR);
- fulfil the legitimate interests of the controller (the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which means:
- carrying out marketing activities in the form of a newsletter – due to specific legislation, activities via e-mail or telephone are carried out on the basis of a separate consent to use the relevant communication channel;
- answering questions sent by Ordering Parties via e-mail and telephone;
- establishing, investigating or defending claims relating to the operation of the Module and the services provided through it.
- TIME OF PROCESSING – personal data will be processed:
- over the duration of the sales contract between the Ordering Party and the Administrator and, after its termination, until the expiry of the limitation periods for claims arising therefrom;
- with regard to data processed under the legitimate interests of the controller, until the Ordering Party raises a legitimate objection, subject to the following point;
- with regard to marketing activities, until the withdrawal of consent to the sending of such information by e-mail or telephone or until an objection to processing in this respect is lodged, whichever occurs first;
- until expiry of the obligation to store data resulting from legal provisions, in particular the obligation to store accounting documents relating to the sales contrac;
- DATA RECIPIENTS – personal data may be shared with:
- State authorities and other entities authorized to access the data to the extent and for the purpose specified in the provisions of the law;
- external entities providing services to the controller in support of its operations in the scope of the services provided, e.g. transport companies, IT service providers, entities auditing its operations, entities responsible for electronic payments (PayPro SA , the owner of the www.przelewy24.pl portal).
- RIGHTS OF PERSONS WHOSE DATA IS PROCESSED – in relation to the processing of personal data, in cases provided for by law, the Ordering Party using the service has the following rights:
- to access their personal data;
- to amend their personal data;
- to erase their personal data;
- to limit the processing of their personal data;
- to transfer their personal data;
- to object to the processing of their personal data;
- to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data where it forms the basis for the processing of their data, which does not, however, affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of their consent before its withdrawal;
- to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection – more information on this right is available at: https://uodo.gov.pl/pl/p/skargi.

- PERSONAL DATA TO BE PROVIDED ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS – Providing personal data by the Ordering Party is voluntary, but failure to provide such data will prevent (concerning data indicated in the Order Form as necessary) or may obstruct (concerning e-mail address, telephone number) the controller’s provision of electronic services and thus the Ordering Party’s purchase of online tickets.
- TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES – the personal data of Ordering Parties ordering on-line tickets via the Module will not be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area.
VI. Final provisions
- Purchased tickets may not be copied or altered.
- The Museum is not responsible for:
- the functioning of the Internet network via which tickets are purchased;
- tickets damaged or lost by the Ordering Party.
- In the event of any malfunction of the Online Ticket Purchase Module, please contact us immediately by e-mail at: rezerwacje@lazienki-krolewskie.pl.
- When purchasing tickets online, the Ordering Party is obliged to read and accept these Terms and Conditions, to read the information on the GDPR, and to provide authentic data.
- These Terms and Conditions for the purchase of tickets online are available on the Museum’s website https://www.lazienki-krolewskie.pl and at the Museum’s Ticket Office.
- The Museum reserves the right to amend and update the content of the Terms and Conditions. Any change made to the Terms and Conditions will be communicated to the Ordering Party each time by posting information about the change in the Module and placing the amended Terms and Conditions in the Module and on the Museum’s website.
